Hi pple!
Its been quite a while since we have updated the blog.
Now, just to update some stuff.
1) SMU Ultimate Beach Tourney 2006
- 19 Feb 2006 (Sunday) NO league game due to Bangkok Hat
- 4 vs 4
- Team of 5 or 6 pple (min. 1 gal)
- NYP sending 2 teams
Comments: Either we r sending A team and B team or we will have 2 equal teams(to be voted). Hopefully we can win something back to boost our morale as it is a week before the IVP and also to show Mr Guru.
2) Ultimate IVP 2006
- NYP, NUS & SMU
- Team of 20 (incl seniors)
- Round Robin League (2 rounds)
- Games to 13, 60 mins
- 1 Full Day event
- Slots to be determined by Captain
Comments: As u guys can see, we will be playing 4 games of 60 mins. It will be very tiring and gruelling. Hence, brush up on ur fitness. Next, we dun have time to so call warm up during the game as it is too short a time. Before u guys know it, it is over. Hence, go out there strong and fast, not wasting time to establish our authority!
3) Club Crawl
- Determines the future of NYP Ultimate
- New batch of students coming in ard March '06
- Club Crawl during April
- Committee needed to design and set up booth
- Aim to attract at least 180 pple to sign up
- Aim to have at least 80 to turn up for first training
Comments: As u guys know that u r the 3rd generation of Ultimate players in NYP, we hope that u guys can outdo the current batch by bringing in more pple and establishing our club better. Our current batch are quite new to managing a club and at times, our method dealing with certain things may be wrong. Hence, identify those mistakes and use it to improve the club. Set a GOOD EXAMPLE before them if u wan to gain their respect. The seniors will be gone b4 u guys know it and u pple have to step it up n take responsibility. Everyone plays a part and no one is more or less impt.
