Training tomorrow
Hi guys... tomorrow we will be training at the Field at 4 pm as usual. Bring boots, water bottles, dark and light top, and loads of energy.
1) As was announced today, there will be a Ultimate Frisbee Challenge open to all in NYP on the 30th of July, Wednesday. As of now, the main thing we need is volunteers to man the booth for publicizing the event next week. Therefore, I will be coming up with a sheet where our dear juniors can put up the times they are available and when they can volunteer. If we have enough manpower, we might even be able to publicize for all five days.
Posters will be designed, and more details released by next Monday.
2) Tomorrow the climb and run forms will be passed out by LB. If you are not attending tomorrow's training, but are in school, I suggest you just come down to the stadium and get the forms from LB. Alternatively, you can get them during next week's training.
3) As was mentioned in the previous post, I highly encourage all to try and make it for both training days as you will miss a lot of stuff if you miss either day of training. If you really love the thrill of skying someone, catching the disc or assisting for a score (layouts also), give a thought to committing to training on both days. You will improve doubly fast, and have two times more playtime, and probably more than two times more fun.
4) To those who just joined us, welcome. I hope you will work hard and find out what you missed from the seniors. They are most keen to help you catch up and improve.
Good training today guys. Any feedback, please don't hesitate to let CS, LB, myself, and any of the seniors know. Not to forget Ben. If you don't know who all these people are...ask the other juniors. :)
Regards, LTC
